Dr. Desmond Adamu is a highly accomplished, board-certified urologist with over 12 years of experience in patient care, medical education, and surgical expertise. A graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Dr. Adamu completed his general surgery internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital before pursuing his urology residency at University of Miami Hospital.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Dr. Adamu has the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring compassionate and culturally sensitive care. His philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that “to tend another’s garden is to sow in your own,” reflecting his deep commitment to patient well-being and trust.
Dr. Adamu’s career is distinguished by numerous academic and professional honors, including the Urology Residency Program Teaching Award from the University of Miami/JMH (2018) and multiple prestigious scholarships such as the Carl J. Herzog Foundation Presidential Scholarship and the Samuel J.T. King Endowed Scholarship. He has also been recognized by the National Medical Association – Urology Section and holds memberships in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
His academic excellence has been celebrated by leading scientific and professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society, National Science Foundation, and Louis Stokes Alliance. These honors underscore his dedication not only to clinical excellence but also to research, mentorship, and leadership in medicine.
Olivarez is a bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned her MSN from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and her BSN from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, graduating in the top 10% of her class.
With over eight years of experience in nursing, she is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care. She loves building trust with her patients and helping them live healthier, happier lives.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and soaking up the outdoors.
Cedillo is an experienced Nurse Practitioner fluent in English and Spanish. She earned her degree from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and has been caring for patients for over 6 years. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as an RN and APRN-CNP, with prescriptive authority.
She loves creating a space where patients feel comfortable and understood, building trust, and empowering them through education to take control of their health. Outside the clinic, you’ll almost always find her at Starbucks.
NP With over 12 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner including four in urology, Michelle Dellorso blends clinical expertise with a compassionate, approachable style. A graduate of Samford University, she specializes in family practice and urology, helping patients navigate sensitive health challenges with ease and empathy. Outside of medicine, she enjoys baking cupcakes, reading, and spending time outdoors, and is a proud member of the International Order of Fellows.
Is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 25 years of experience, from the rhythm of cardiology to the precision of urology. Starting in transcription and now thriving as a medical scribe, she’s mastered the art of clinical storytelling capturing care with clarity and compassion. Her cross specialty expertise and genuine love for the field make her an invaluable behind the scenes force in patient care.
Rebecca is a skilled medical assistant with over 10 years of experience across multiple specialties. She’s pursuing a degree in healthcare administration and is passionate about delivering excellent care. She enjoys travel and time with loved ones.
