Dr. Desmond Adamu is a highly accomplished, board-certified urologist with over 12 years of experience in patient care, medical education, and surgical expertise. A graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Dr. Adamu completed his general surgery internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital before pursuing his urology residency at University of Miami Hospital.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Dr. Adamu has the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring compassionate and culturally sensitive care. His philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that “to tend another’s garden is to sow in your own,” reflecting his deep commitment to patient well-being and trust.

Dr. Adamu’s career is distinguished by numerous academic and professional honors, including the Urology Residency Program Teaching Award from the University of Miami/JMH (2018) and multiple prestigious scholarships such as the Carl J. Herzog Foundation Presidential Scholarship and the Samuel J.T. King Endowed Scholarship. Ms. Olivarez is a bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA). She earned her MSN from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and her BSN from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, graduating in the top 10% of her class.

She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as an RN and APRN-CNP, with prescriptive authority.
